According to Indonesian telecommunication regulations, the mission must secure a permit in order to be a member of the Indonesian Amateur Radio Organization (ORARI) or to install a wireless transmitter or to use radio frequencies. The permit may be requested from the Directorate of Diplomatic Facilities.
