​No. 16/PR/IV/2013/54 The 22nd ASEAN Summit was held in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam and attended by Head of States and Governments of ASEAN Member States, except Malaysian Prime Minister, and the Secretary-General of ASEAN (24-25/04). The Summit was preceded by a working dinner on the evening of 24th of April 2013 and continued with a Retreat Summit on the 25th of April 2013.

In the effort to disseminate information on the establishment of the ASEAN Community 2015, the Director General of ASEAN Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized a socialization event with a theme of “Toward the ASEAN Economic Community 2015: Opportunity and Challenges to Business in West Kalimantan” targeted to business players and the staff of West Kalimantan’s regional government; and a public lecture entitled “Toward the ASEAN Economic Community 2015” for university students in the region of Pontianak, West Kalimantan (12-13/02).
